Accessibility

Kybera wants everyone to be able to use our website and our products, including people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, magnification or voice control, or who navigate by keyboard alone.

Our standard

We design and build this website and Kybera IMpact to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We check our work against that standard as we build, and we treat accessibility problems as defects to be fixed.

What this means in practice

• Pages and screens work with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
• Headings, landmarks and labels are marked up so that assistive technology can announce them.
• Text and important graphics have sufficient colour contrast, and colour is never the only way information is shown.
• Images and diagrams have text alternatives.
• Content reflows on small screens and when zoomed, without scrolling sideways.
• Kybera IMpact works in English and French throughout.

Known limitations

The screenshots of Kybera IMpact on our French pages currently show the product’s English interface. Each one has a French text description.
